Q: Do you know about mazda cars?
I am about to purchase a 07 Mazda3 touring edition and the sticker price is $16,750. The dealer has offered me $15,995. I an not finacially able to go above $15,000. So thats going to be my final offer. Can Mazda dealers sell their cars with $1,750 off MRSP? Do you know any negotiating advice-it has been tough getting them to the 15,995-they will hardly budge!
A: Actually, Mazda 3 mark up rarely is over $1,000. There have not been any manufacturer rebates and they are the hottest selling Mazda in history. Depending on the region, Mazda offers a 'Hit and Win' program which rewards dealerships $500 if they meet their pre-determined goal. The draw back is that if you don't achieve it, you will not receive the money period. Even the hold back on a Mazda 3 is minimal, probably about $425 on that vehicle. I was the Sales Manager of a Mazda Dealership in Indiana and unless that vehicle was the one I needed to achieve my goal, then I would not sell it at $15,000 because I know I can sell it for $15,995 to the next Mazda 3 shopper. Between front and back end money, there is not much in the deal for the dealership.
A Mazda 6 however has a much higher mark up as well as rebates. Many Mazda dealership do honor supplier discounts which automatically give the customer the additional $500, so if you have access to a pin #, that would be non-negotiable price which would be really close to where you want to be. (My dealership accepted Ford Employee pin #'s, but not all do)
If you don't have access to supplier, your best bet would be to wait until the end of the month and see if your deal helps them, or find a lower interest rate. I hope this helps.
Q: Whatever happened to the green/blue color on Mazda's cars?
I really like this one particular color, a dark teal or turquoise, in the blue-green family...I've seen it on the Mazda 3, but when I went to the Mazda site looking for it, it doesn't seem to be produced anymore. I find it hard to believe that all these Mazdas have the same custom color. So what happened? Why did Mazda stop making cars in that color?
A: I think you're refering to Phantom Blue 32C colour - that's what I have on my Mazda3.
It's an excellent colour because it changes depending on the light intensity - it can be blue, it can be green and it can have shades of deep purple. Very classy :-) And NEVER EVER the car appears to be wearing only one colour
And you're right... they dropped it - they must have done that only a few days ago because I was playing with their Build your Mazda tool...
Why? Hard to say, but I haven't seen many Phantom Blue Mazdas around, so people probably were not interested.
Q: What color complements Galaxy Grey Mica on mazda cars?
Its tough to say what color goes with GGM because its the type of color that looks kinda slate blue in direct light but dark grey in indirect light. Also what kind of rim would go with that color?
A: chrome baby
Q: Who makes mazda cars and are they made good?
i like the Mazda Cx-9 suv and i was wondering what are ur thoughts on them
A: Mazda is a Japanese automaker based in Hiroshima, Japan. It is 34% owned by Ford Motor Co., which makes it a Ford affiliate. The Mazda6 platform has been used as the basis for Ford's midsize cars such as the Fusion and for the Ford Escape as well as the Mazda Tribute. Mazda is particularly well known for its Wankel rotary engine that once powered Mazda's RX sporty compact cars.
Mazda introduced the CX-9 midsize crossover vehicle (combining car and SUV characteristics) in 2007. It share the same platform as the Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX. But the CX-9 seats 7 and has a third row seat, and has plenty of cargo space. It also has lots of safety features. New for 2008 is an optional blind spot monitoring system. The CX-9 is available in 3 tim versions with AWD or FWD. In tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the CX-9 earned 5-stars in frontal and side impact tests and and a 4-star rating for rollover resistance.
Although it will be evaluated this year for initial quality and consumer appeal, its cousin, the Ford Edge, was the highest ranking midsize multi-activity vehicle or crossover in our firm's 2007 APEAL study, which gauges what delights and excites new vehicle owners. Q: Who are the makers of all the motors of different cars like mazda pontiac etc. Who are the american dealers?
Who are foreign motors makers? Which cars have long lasting motors besides Honda and toyota?
A: Mazda makes their own engines. Mazda's are reliable cars in general. They have reliable powertrains, but other mechanical parts not involving the engine are not reliable. Cheaper parts. Ford owns 33 percent of Mazda, but they do not make engines or parts for Mazda. Mazda makes their own engines.
American: These companies also own some car companies from other countries like Saab, Mitsubishi, Opel, Vauxhall, Holden, and Volvo.
GM(General Motors) owns Chevy, Pontiac, Saturn, Hummer, Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, and GMC.
FMC(Ford Motor Company) owns Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln.
Daimler Chrysler owns Dodge, Plymouth, and Lincoln.
Japanese: All of these are good cars, but Honda is best.

Q: What cars Manufactured by Mazda are RWD cars?
This is a pretty easy one for all you Mazda fans out there.
Thumbs up and Best answer to the one who answers with the most (that are right).
Oh, you can include JDM realese cars...
Contestant 1#
Close...but no Cigar.
The MR-S aka MR2 (US) is made by Toyota.
A: If current manufacture, only the Rx8 and Miata. If Mazdas imported to US, would include Rx7, Rx4, Rx3, Rx2, R100, and Cosmo. These are cars. Piston engine models include early GLC and 626, 1800, 1600, 1200 and Bertone. Not sure of spelling on last one, looked like a BMW.
Q: Are Mazda Protege cars any good?
I've found a 2002 Mazda Protege with low miles. I was wondering if these cars are very reliable. I am a teenager and I'm looking to fixing this car up. Do these cars make nice cars to fix up?
A: Yes it will be fine.
Q: I like those new Mazda sports cars do you?
They seem so fast and really quick off the mark in the quarter mile.
A: Yes! Adorable, so cool! Hey, I saw you breezin by in your Corvette! I was just takin' it slow, no hurry. Maybe NEXT time we can let these cars have some fun!
Q: Does anybody know what cars mazda used the following block/head combo in?
The block has, on the left side, a 1 space BP stamped on it, and the head, on the rear(distributor side) BPO(or zero)5-6-2
it's a DOHC motor and I need parts but need to know what cars have this combo.thanks all....
A: bp motors were used in miata's & protege's.
since u have a distributor that kills the miata as the source due to the fact it has distributorless ignition.
i would say it sounds like if u were to use a 1996 protege that is not a 1.5l (that is the zm motor). use the bp motor ( i believe it's a 1.8l or 1.6l)

Q: Which is better?start selling insurance for all state or continue selling cars with mazda (1 yr job time)?
I have been with mazda for a year. I got a job offer with all state. which is better? for my future. I enjoy selling cars, but im undecided. I figure im already starting to get repeat here, so it would take about a year to get going with insurance. ahhhhh!!! what to do.
A: Define better. Your decision, not ours.
Q: should ford owning mazda influence my decision to get a car?
there's a mazda car i was really interested in, but then i found out they were owned by ford. i am not and never have been a fan of ford cars and hearing this news really let down(to each their own). would ford owning mazda have a big influence on the quality? how long have they owned them?
A: As a corporation yes Ford owns controlling interest in Mazda. If that is going to throw you then you should avoid LandRover, Jaguar, and Volvo as they own controlling interest in those car companies as well.
Now down to the nitty gritty...corporate ownership does not mean they are all "Fords." Ford does use innovations and materials from the other companies it controls with the Ford line of vehicles, to include Lincoln and Mercury. This does not mean however that they mess with the quality of the companines they control. Cause if your a Toyota or Nissan fan you might wanna avoid them as well. As I bet you would be shocked to realize they have partnered with Ford in the past to mutually help the other out with their car lines. Examples of this are the Rav4 which is a Toyota in the US and Ford Maverick in Europe...the Nissan Quest and the Mercury Villager both in the US market.
Every car company produces a lemon or good concept, but bad performance vehicle from time to time...however I know folks who dish GM and Chrysler just as much as Ford gets dished. So why don't you go test drive the Mazda your interested in and discover for yourself what a nice product and vehicle they produce.
Q: is there a website where i can find the employee pricing for Mazda cars?
