Seriously, they renamed the Zephyr the MKZ after a year just because they thought it was a better name. Actually, it has to do with Lincoln's new nomenclature system.

A: I work for a Lincoln dealer, and we send our units to a Ziebart if it doesn't come from the factory and the customers request it. Their systems work very well, so check around at the aftermarket world, as I don't know if you have a Ziebart around you....

A: Lincoln MKZ comes with HID lamps... not Bi-Xenons so your high-beams can't be blue/xenon. doesnt work on high beam--- only low beam!
Q: How to stop my windows and m/roof from opening when I press unlock on my key for my Lincoln MKZ?
I noticed the other day when I left work, that my car windows (front) and moonroof were wide open. At first I thought it was broken into, but after reading the manual, I found that if you press and hold the unlock button on the key, they open. Also, once this is activated if someone touches the doorhandle or unlocks the doors manually, the alarm sounds. I was wondering if anyone figured a way to disable this feature. I fear that if I accidentally open the windows, it may be raining and my interior would be ruined. Thanks
A: Have you checked your owners manual? I'm not familiar with Lincoln, but other cars I've had have had features that could be enabled or disabled by a dealer. It's simply a matter of reprogramming the car's computer.

A: The short answer is yes. All Lincoln's for '08 come with Sync, which is the voice command system for Nav and entertainment (music). You can easily use Sync to control the Nav system. You can also do it via the buttons on the face of the unit. Try both and see which is best for you.

A: I know what you're talking about on the being able to see what the back-up camera sees, but on your rear view mirror and not the navigation system (as for the Expedition and Navigator have that), but I'm not sure if it's on the MKZ. I know for sure that it has the sensors that automatically turn on when you go in reverse. What it does is that it emits a beeping noise when it senses you're near an object, whether it be on the ground or behind the vehicle, and the closer you get to it the faster the beep sounds. Even if the MKZ doesn't have a back-up camera, this is more effective because it literally picks up anything that is behind the vehicle within 15 feet, while a back-up camera only shows you a narrow image of what's behind you and points too much towards the ground.
Q: Does anyone else hate the 2007 Lincoln MKZ taillights?
I just think they are wayyyy too huge for the back end of the car. Completely takes it over. I just don't like them and was bored and wondered if anyone else felt the same way.
A: I agree. The 2010 MKZ's taillights are sleeker looking and not so fat, but I wish they were still toned down just a bit.

A: yes, although u may have to roll the fenders back an inch or so. im pretty sure they will fit as long as u get low profile tires.
